Aricent Protocol Stacks

We offer a range of protocol stacks in the areas of LAN, WAN, ATM, IP, Internetworking, Network Management, Telecommunications, and Signaling. The protocol stacks provide a significant "Time to Market" advantage to the OEMs by enabling them to reach the market fast. They are also deployed in specific IPR-enabled projects to compress product development times. Click below on the individual protocol documents for details and descriptions of the individual products within each family.

All the protocol stacks are built using a proprietary architecture called FSAP (Aricent Architecture for Portability) to ensure smooth and easy porting to heterogeneous target platforms.

FSAP achieves portability among heterogeneous platforms by isolating the environment specific portions of the source code from the core protocol components. This makes the protocol stack software independent of the hardware and the operating system. This framework provides the product family with consistent attributes as well as offers the program interfaces for easier implementation in communications systems.

Our protocol stacks go through a comprehensive testing process to ensure optimum performance and smooth functioning. Each of the protocol stacks has a well-defined road map and is continually updated to keep pace with the changing technology. All the protocol stacks are scalable, flexible and are fully standards compliant.

The portfolio of protocol stacks is expanded continuously. In fact, we have a very comprehensive range of protocol stacks in the industry today. It is our prime objective to provide customers with a single source of high quality, easy-to-use protocol stacks that can reduce the time-to-market by meeting end-to-end requirements.

The individual protocol stacks and solutions grouped by market segments where they can be deployed are also available for your reference.
