FutureSoft to Deliver Communication Solutions on Intel®’s Network and Control Plane Processors

FutureSoft, a leading provider of communications software source code products and services, announced its plans to offer communication solutions with Intel, the world's largest chip maker, under the Intel* Internet Exchange Architecture (Intel® IXA) Developer Network.

FutureSoft will provide Intel* Network and Control Plane processor optimized building blocks that will help telecommunications and data communications equipment manufacturers accelerate their designs and take them to the market faster.

FutureSoft will work closely with Intel to make available its wide range of data plane and control plane software modules on the Intel® IXA network processor family (IXP2400, IXP2800, IXP425 and IXP1200). FutureSoft is also working on Intel® XScale microarchitecture based IXC1100 Control Plane Processor line for its control plane protocol stacks.
