Network Management Systems(NMS) has been an integral part of the many systems development project over the years. Aricent has developed NMS for ATM networks, Wireless LAN networks, Central Office terminals, and DSLAMs to name a few. The embedded support required for network management and the front-end development form part of our NMS repertoire. Various network management functionalities like configuration management, fault management, network monitoring et. al. have been handled by us.

Due to the varied nature of systems developed by us, our experience in NMS includes various methods like Command Line Interface (CLI), Web-Based Management, SNMP based management, Telecommunication Network Management (TNM) and Telecommunication Management Forum (TMF) based architecture, Element Management and FCAPS Server architecture, in addition to the various languages and tools like JAVA, CORBA, HP Openview etc.

We also have expertise in defining proprietary management information base (MIB) to support network element management.
