Aricent RADIUS Overview :
The Aricent RADIUS software is the Client implementation of the IETF RFC 2138 and the accounting procedures as specified in the RFC 2139. RADIUS is a protocol for Authentication, Authorization and Accounting for a user session with the remote Server. Aricent RADIUS packetizes the authentication and accounting information received from users and sends it to the designated server. Aricent RADIUS consults and updates management data (RADIUS Client MIBs). Aricent RADIUS software does not support the Backup server operation.
