FSS reiterated its leadership in data networking and communications domains
by showcasing its latest IPv6-compliant market offerings in the areas of
Wi-Fi, Switching, Routing, and Security.
There was a demonstration showcasing the portability and ready availability
of FSS' Intelligent Software Solution (ISS) offering across a range of
leading chipset platforms, such as Broadcom, Marvell and SwitchCore. FSS'
ISS is a pre-integrated Layer 2-Layer 3 Switching solution. It facilitates
OEMs to build managed Ethernet switching capabilities in their devices.
ISS
is an ideal solution for a range of applications that include Fast Ethernet
and Gigabit Ethernet switches, IP DSLAMs, VDSL-based Multi-Tenant Units
(MTU) as well as wireless LAN and optical switches.
There was also a demonstration on Enhanced Security Solution (ESS) on an
Intel platform. Packing a host of features, FSS' ESS is a complete security
solution that enables OEMs to build an enterprise security product with
integrated firewall, NAT, VPN, routing, and wireless capabilities. ESS
has
been especially designed as an all-in-one solution for Small and Medium
Businesses (SMBs) and Small Office Home Office (SOHO) router manufacturers.
Both ISS and ESS are OEM-ready solutions and significantly reduce
time-to-market. Their highly portable and modular architectures enable
OEMs
to add and remove features as per their requirements, making them highly
cost effective.
