Position Description
Future Communications Software has openings for Software (Systems) Engineers. The relevant skill sets are given below :
- Work under limited supervision to develop customized software for communication systems at various Bay Area sites.
- Duties include: Work with protocols (ATM and TCP/IP), drivers, switches, Object Oriented Design (OOD), embedded software, SNMP, Unix Shell Scripts, C/C++, wireless communication applications, and use Java for Internet applications.
- Min. Req: MSCS or MSCS/E or MSEE or equivalent foreign degree + background (university project work or experience) with protocols.
- ATM, TCP/IP, drivers, switches, OOD, embedded software, SNMP, Unix Shell Scripts, C/C++, wireless communication and Internet applications, and Java.
